| Lynchburg Mustang will be our first and only introduction for 2008. This extremely hardy seedling has thrived through two November moves, winter flooding, an ice storm and a summer of drought. We also saw rebloom in 2007 which kept this cultivar blooming for nearly 3 months. With 40 inch scapes and twenty 8 inch flowers per scape, Lynchburg Mustang is a real traffic stopper. It is named for the school mascot with the vivid school colors of black and gold, home of the Lynchburg Mustangs, where our six daughters attend school. We packed up our family of 8 and moved here in the fall of 2005, knowing little more than we wanted to live in a small rural community with more land to grow out all of little beauties that Mom and the girls were making. |  |
